Settling In for the Spring

For the first time in several months I am getting to the point where I’m almost fully invested and just riding my positions.

It’s a nice feeling!

For the second half of 2011, me and most of my trading buddies were furiously trading in and out of positions to stay ahead of the whipsaws in a VERY choppy market. We managed to come out ahead, but it was a lot of WORK.

Now, I’m letting the market do the work for me.

Year-To-Date (through Feb 3) my main trading account is +13.86% vs. +7.11% for the S&P 500.

It’s been a good year so far for the investors who were brave enough to be in the stock market despite all the “gloom and doom” warnings that a big market crash was coming.

It’s getting to the point soon where I will be able to just “let ‘er ride.”
